Megan Wong

Hello! My name is Megan Wong, and I’m from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. I am a pre-med senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry. I am particularly interested in electrobiology and electrophysiology, so I have been pursuing research on neural interfaces in the Viventi Lab. This is my third year working with SAGE, and I have loved being a part of such a welcoming and supportive community (Thank you to all my participants, fellow learning facilitators, and bosses). Outside of class, I enjoy playing violin in the Duke Symphony Orchestra or as a volunteer at the Duke Hospital. I also like listening to classical music, watching musicals, reading books, playing tennis, and journal writing in my free time.

Sarah Romans

My name is Sarah Romans and I'm from St. Paul, Minnesota. I'm a senior studying neuroscience and this is my second year as a SAGE facilitator. At school, I play on the Duke women's club lacrosse team and volunteer at Duke hospital, and over the summers I work as a wilderness guide leading canoeing and backpacking trips for middle school and high school kids. In my free time I love to be outdoors, especially backpacking. In the future, I hope to attend medical school.

Jason Lee

Hi. My name is Jason, and I’m a third-year pre-med who is majoring in Spanish. I’m also in the Cardea Fellows Program, so if you’re pre-med, maybe you’re in the program too, or maybe you know other Cardea Fellows. I’m from Raleigh (so far, I know), so outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with my friends from UNC and NC State. I also like to travel too! (Check out this pic of me next to an alpaca in Perú!)
