When you log in to your free Tutor.com account, you'll be able to:

How do I access Tutor.com?

Watch the video or follow the steps below to access Tutor.com.

Watch this video for instructions on how to access Tutor.com in Sakai.

  1. Log in to Sakai
  2. Select the course Sakai page you want to receive tutoring for.
  3. Locate the "Tutor.com" tool in the left column and click it. A new tab will open with Tutor.com.
  4. Once on the Tutor.com page:
    1. Select the subject area in the topic dropdown menu (i.e., Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science).
    2. Select the course in the subject dropdown menu  (i.e., CHEM 101, BIO 201)
    3. Determine whether you want to connect with chat or chat and voice.
    4. Enter your question and any critical notes in the pre-session questionnaire; this will save you time while you are in your tutoring session!
    5. A pop-up window will appear, and you will be connected with a live tutor.
    6. After your session with a tutor is completed, you can go back and review it any time or even save your tutor as a “favorite.”
