The ARC Peer Education program is Level I Certified by the College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC), a credential endorsed by national leaders in academic support including the Council of Learning Assistance and Developmental Education Associations (CLADEA) and the National Organization for Student Success (NOSS).
Aligned with the internationally-recognized CRLA ITTPC standards, all ARC Peer Educators engage in comprehensive training that equips them with tools to support student learning and success. Our training curriculum emphasizes effective communication and active listening skills, strategies for facilitating engaging sessions, and research-based learning strategies grounded in educational best practices.
