Camilla Smith, M.Ed.

Camilla comes to ARC most recently from Quantily Research Management where she supported curriculum development and research efforts in education. Her focus included bridging immersive technology, social justice, and personalized learning to create an equitable learning platform for students. Prior to working in research, she worked for NC schools for Teach for America where she taught across six grade levels in STEM disciplines, including AP and Early College courses. Camilla also has previous experience leading supplemental instruction sessions for university students in high-risk STEM courses such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physiology.

With 10 years of experience working with students, she is highly skilled in providing individualized support and intervention as needed for students. She holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a M.Ed. in Training and Development from North Carolina State University.

Camilla enjoys working with students and helping them achieve their academic potential. She also loves to hang out with her couch-potato puppy named Cory, swimming whenever she gets the chance, finding new recipes to cook, and traveling with friends!
