Sarah Marion is an assistant for the ARC Peer Education program and a graduate student in the Duke Biology Department, pursuing her PhD in evolutionary genetics. Sarah worked in the Research Triangle Park as a project manager and then as a professional biology lab instructor at Duke before transitioning to graduate school. She spends her days working with fruit flies and DNA sequence data, mentoring students in lab and working at the ARC! Outside of work, Sarah enjoys backpacking, running with her dogs and photography.
